Read for Free

Hey there, if you love my books, and want to get more books for free—yes, you read that right, free—then you’ve come to the right place. There are two awesome ways to get free books:

1.Become a Beta Reader: I’m always looking for folks who are willing to pre-read my work prior to publication. As a beta reader, you will get a chance to read books before they hit the market, will have some influence (by telling me what you liked and what you didn’t like) over the final product, and will receive special thanks in the back of the book you read (name included). If you’re interested in becoming a beta reader, write “Beta Reader” in the subject line below and then tell me why you would like to be a beta reader in the comments section. If I feel like it’s a good fit, you’ll be on team Hunter, all official like.

2. Get free books by leaving reviews: I need you. Seriously. I. Need. You. Quality, honest reviews from readers, like You, help indie authors, like Me, succeed. Those reviews are so helpful, in fact, that I’m happy to give away free books to get them. If you’re willing to leave a review on Amazon or Goodreads (or both), I will give you your next book on the house.

Reviews don’t need to be long or difficult—it’s not a book report—just leave a sentence or two on either Amazon or Goodreads, telling folks what you enjoyed about the story. After leaving your review, write “Free Book” in the subject line below, paste the link to your review in the comments box, and I’ll send you (free of charge) any book of your choosing (excluding the Lazarus box-set).

Thanks again,

James

  1. Interesting story, and looking forward to the next one. Could use a tiny little bit more proofreading though. Could just be a personal problem though – homonyms errors drive me nuts. ☺
